<p style="text-align: left;">Getting started with In the Know! is straightforward and easy. You need  little technical assistance because there is nothing to install or download. The  software is hosted on our server and each customer has their own site.</p>
<p style="text-align: left;"><strong><span style="font-size: medium;">Explore the Demo</span></strong></p>
<ul style="text-align: left;">
    <li class="list"><span style="font-size: small;">Test drive In the Know! by clicking on “Demo”. A test drive allows you  to explore a version of In the Know! that is pre-configured. We’ve also added  fictional data to illustrate its features. You can choose an organization most  like your own, add projects and team members, change passwords, and so on! </span></li>

<p style="text-align: left;"><strong><span style="font-size: medium;">Customizing In the Know!</span></strong></p>
<p style="text-align: left;"><span style="font-size: small;">One of the strengths of In the Know! is that it is flexible and can be  configured to adopt the language, workflow, and work style of the people who use  it. In the know! will seem familiar and intuitive to you and your team right  from the beginning. Once provisioned with your unique In the Know! site, you can  easily customize In the Know! for your organization. Start by clicking on the  Preferences tab once you have logged in. This will take you to the home page of  the Administration section, which is accessible to users with administrative  authority only. </span></p>
<p style="text-align: left;"><span style="font-size: small;">There are four sections listed under Preferences for you to consider. They  will provide you with the following options summarized below: span</span></p>

    <li class="list"><span style="font-size: small;"><span class="bold">General</span> – Personalize In the Know! by inserting your organization’s name  and logo; post a message to your team on the home page that can be updated at  anytime; and establish individual logins, passwords, and access authority. </span></li>
    <li class="list"><span style="font-size: small;"><span class="bold">Menus and Terminology</span> – Change the words and labels used throughout the  software program to reflect your organization’s style; determine what main  options will be visible and what they will be called; and customize the menu to  include tabs such as a link to an external website. </span></li>
    <li class="list"><span style="font-size: small;"><span class="bold">Projects</span> - Establish the project stages that fit your organization’s  workflow; determine criteria for green, yellow or red alert status on dashboard  indicators; and engage or disengage certain functionalities. </span></li>
    <li class="list"><span style="font-size: small;"><span class="bold">People</span> – Lay the groundwork for resource allocation, planning, and team  communications. Identify the roles that team members can assume, such as lead,  owner, project manager; determine whether you would like to activate activity  notifications by email; and establish in the directory the groups to which team  members can belong, such as, employees, vendors, contractors and partners. </span></li>
